Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Heating Service Technician for the independent maintenance of modern heating and heat supply systems in the Lucerne region. You will undertake maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work and participate in conversions and new installations of building technology systems. In addition to systematic fault diagnosis, you ensure reliable system operation and identify potential for optimising energy efficiency and operational safety. The position combines varied service assignments with high technical responsibility in the field of heating and building technology.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance, service, and repair work on heating and heat supply systems
Independent fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and fault rectification at customer sites
Execution and supervision of conversions and new installations of heating systems
Performing functional checks, adjustments, and commissioning after service, repair, and conversion work
Checking relevant system components, operating parameters, and control settings
Maintenance of boilers, heat distribution systems, pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems
Determining and forwarding optimisation measures regarding energy efficiency, operational safety, and system availability
Independent organisation and documentation of service and maintenance assignments
Coordination of technical work and alignment within the service team
Procurement or organisation of necessary spare parts and consumables
Participation in the on-call service at defined intervals and handling urgent system faults
Qualifications:
Completed basic training as a heating installer with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or comparable training in building technology
Several years of professional experience in service, maintenance, and repair of heating systems
Sound knowledge in fault diagnosis, repair, hydraulics, and system optimisation
Experience with various heating and heat supply systems as well as their control and system components
Willingness to participate in the on-call service
Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
Valid Category B driving licence
