LC-MS/MS Specialist Technician (80 to 100%)

For an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, specialised in environmental testing, water analysis and compliance assessment with Swiss federal environmental protection laws and ordinances, we are looking for a:

LC-MS/MS Specialist Technician

Location: Northern Lausanne Region
Work rate: 80 to 100%
Contract type: Permanent position
Start date: As soon as possible

Your tasks

• Perform instrumental analyses by LC-MS/MS according to validated methods and protocols.
• Ensure sample preparation for direct injection or solid phase extraction (SPE).
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of instruments, especially Agilent systems.
• Participate in the development, optimisation and validation of new analytical methods.
• Contribute to maintaining quality requirements in an ISO 17025 accredited environment.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry or equivalent field.
• Practical experience in LC-MS/MS, ideally in environmental analyses.
• Ability to work independently, with rigour and critical thinking.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Fluency in French, both spoken and written (minimum C1 level).

Additional assets

• Experience with Agilent instruments and MassHunter Insight software.
• Knowledge of requirements and practices related to ISO 17025 accreditation.
• Experience in analysing PFAS and other emerging micropollutants.
