Plant Operator / Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
As a plant operator and maintenance technician, you are responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of technical systems in the area of cooling water production and distribution as well as wastewater and emergency management. Your focus is on monitoring, maintaining, and repairing the systems to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Plant Supervision: Monitoring and managing the systems in the cooling water area
- Safety Management: Supporting the team in ensuring supply and disposal security within your area of responsibility
- Maintenance and Repair: Performing regular maintenance and repair work on production plants and technical systems (e.g. wastewater, refrigeration systems, steam/condensate, heating)
- Troubleshooting: First response to technical faults and their prompt resolution as part of the on-call service
- Safety Regulations: Compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental protection regulations in all work processes
- Colleague Support: Representing and supporting the Energy & Services department team in monitoring and maintaining technical systems
- Technical Documentation: Documenting maintenance and repair work as well as maintaining technical records
Qualifications:
- Training: Completed mechanical/technical basic training EFZ, e.g. as a machine and plant operator or in a comparable field
- Experience: Professional experience in a similar role in the industrial sector, preferably in a chemical environment or handling hazardous materials
- Expertise: Knowledge of HVAC technology (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) is an advantage
- Languages: Good German skills, both spoken and written
- Additional Qualifications: Valid category B driving licence, willingness to participate in on-call duty, good PC skills
