Role:
You want to know containers not just from tutorials but help shape real platforms? As a Junior GitOps Engineer, you dive deep into the world of OpenShift and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Here you learn how stable processes between code and production are created. An experienced team supports you and promotes your development purposefully. This way, you gradually take on more responsibility.
Responsibilities:
You actively drive automated deployments and recurring processes forward.
You help continuously improve and streamline build, test, and release processes.
You actively contribute to the operation and expansion of the container platform and other central DevOps components.
Furthermore, you support development teams in containerising, rolling out, and operating their applications.
You evaluate incidents, develop permanent solutions with senior engineers, and assist with monitoring and logging.
Additionally, you document technical solutions and best practices and regularly exchange ideas with development, architecture, and IT security.
Qualifications:
You have at least one year of practical experience in DevOps, cloud, system, or software engineering.
You have already gained some hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
You know the basic principles of build, test, and release pipelines and work confidently with Git.
Furthermore, you want to deepen your GitOps knowledge. Experience with TeamCity, ArgoCD, Tekton, or similar tools is a plus.
Initial experience in monitoring and logging, for example with ELK or Sentry, rounds off your profile.
Moreover, you convince with quick comprehension, joy in learning, and a clear working style. You are fluent in German, and technical English poses no difficulty for you.
