On behalf of one of our clients based in Yverdon, we are looking for

a Technician or an On-site MacOS / APPLE Support Technician

Main missions :

Provide on-site support to users:

• Offer technical support and quality follow-up to users on computer equipment (workstations, tablets and any managed peripheral) or in case of connectivity problems
• Guide the user pedagogically in resolving malfunctions or changes, take remote control of the system within the limits of their authorisations.
• Record all user requests and incidents in the ticketing tool
• Perform a pre-diagnosis, qualify, then sort all user requests and incidents
• Report major breakdowns, anomalies and 'out of the ordinary' cases according to established procedures
• Process and follow up on their tickets and those assigned to their scope
• Carry out a complete diagnosis on the equipment suspected to be defective or faulty
• Check and verify the proper functioning of workstations, tablets and any managed peripheral on site as well as deployed applications, software and configurations
• Prepare and preconfigure computer equipment before commissioning on site, configure it once on site

Contribute to maintaining the hardware inventory:

• Check and maintain the hardware inventory during interventions.
• Intervene on workstations that report an anomaly in the hardware inventory and perform all necessary operations to correct it.
• Keep the hardware inventory up to date after receiving new equipment, during moves or replacements of existing equipment.

Ensure receipt and delivery of computer equipment and ensure its operational condition is maintained:

• Inventory the received equipment and store it in the designated room with particular care to order, respecting safety rules. Enter entries and exits in the central database.
• Transport new, repaired, exchanged or renewed computer equipment and commission it at its destination within the allotted time.
• Take charge of faulty or defective equipment (computers, tablets and any managed peripheral), coordinate and arrange its transport from the repair centre once repair or exchange is completed.
• Carry out equipment transfers between the service's different sites.

Participate in enriching documentation and knowledge bases:

• Write support documentation intended for users and adapt it so that it is always up to date and follows the evolution of digital tools.
• Write and keep up to date internal procedures for commissioning, operation and exploitation of IT tools.
• Keep skills up to date by self-training on the evolution of equipment and tools using knowledge bases, internal and external documentation.

Profile sought :

• Knowledge of MacOS, iPadOS, tvOS operating systems and Microsoft 365 products
• Interest and curiosity for new technologies and multimedia equipment (gateways, displays, interactivity, etc.)
• Ability to self-train
• Apple and Microsoft certification are a plus
• Driving licence and residence in Switzerland mandatory
