As a Payroll Specialist, you ensure the complete and reliable management of salaries for several legal entities in Switzerland. You play a key role in data quality, supporting HR teams, and the continuous improvement of processes within a transforming organisation.

Responsibilities
You take charge of the operational management of salaries and actively contribute to the improvement of HR processes.
Salary management and compliance
- Ensure the entire monthly payroll process, from data preparation to salary closure.
- Guarantee accurate and timely salary processing for several legal entities in Switzerland.
- Prepare and check social insurance statements (AHV, BVG, UVG, daily sickness benefits, unemployment insurance), family allowances and withholding tax.
- Prepare annual salary certificates and ensure compliance with Swiss legal obligations.
- Coordinate with administrations, insurance companies and pension institutions.
Payroll systems and data quality
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of salary data in payroll systems.
- Manage and control interfaces between various HR and time management tools.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, system inconsistencies and data quality issues.
- Participate in initiatives to improve HR data reliability and enhance reporting tools.
HR advice and collaboration
- Be the primary contact for employees, managers and HR partners on all salary-related matters.
- Provide advice on payroll issues, Swiss social insurances and internal procedures.
- Work closely with HR teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the team in resolving complex payroll situations.
Continuous improvement and HR transformation
- Contribute to the standardisation, documentation and optimisation of payroll processes.
- Identify improvement opportunities to strengthen internal controls, operational efficiency and data quality.
- Participate in HR transformation projects and the implementation of reliable and sustainable processes.
- Ensure service continuity and quality in a changing environment.
Candidate profile
We are looking for an experienced, autonomous and rigorous individual with solid expertise in Swiss payroll management and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
Professional experience and education
- Minimum 10 years of experience in payroll management in Switzerland, including payroll processing for multiple legal entities.
- Proven experience managing complex payroll processes and good knowledge of Swiss legislation.
- Federal diploma as an HR specialist, equivalent training or specialisation in payroll management.
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss social insurances (AHV, BVG, UVG, unemployment insurance, daily sickness benefits).
- Good understanding of withholding tax regulations and legal payroll obligations.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in SwissSalary is essential.
- Knowledge of time management and planning tools is an advantage.
- Comfortable using complex HR systems, managing interfaces and handling sensitive data.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify and resolve payroll anomalies.
