Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the independent project management in engineering and construction surveying. You will handle demanding surveying projects from conception and field survey through evaluation to documentation and handover of geodata. Modern methods such as 3D laser scanning, GNSS, tachymetry, drone surveying, and BIM are used. In addition to technical project responsibility, you will support customer care, acquisition, and the further development of digital services in the field of geomatics and engineering surveying.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management and handling of demanding engineering and construction surveying projects from order clarification to project handover

• Planning and execution of precision, control, staking out, and deformation measurements for building construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects

• Conception and evaluation of measurements using GNSS, total station, and digital levelling

• Planning, execution, and processing of 3D laser scanning and point cloud recordings for digital inventory recording

• Use and evaluation of drone surveying / photogrammetry for terrain, inventory, and structural surveys

• Preparation and integration of 3D geodata and point clouds for CAD-, GIS-, and BIM-based planning processes

• Creation of terrain models, inventory plans, staking out bases, and surveying documentation

• Responsibility for project budget, deadlines, quality, and resource planning as well as ongoing project controlling

• Coordination with clients, engineering offices, planners, construction companies, and other project partners

• Technical advice and support for customers as well as preparation of offers and project concepts

• Support in the acquisition of new orders as well as maintenance and further development of existing customer relationships

• Participation in the development and digitalisation of new products, workflows, and services in engineering surveying

Qualifications:

• University degree as Geomatics Engineer FH/ETH at Bachelor or Master level or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in engineering and/or construction surveying, ideally in the Swiss project environment

• Sound knowledge in GNSS, tachymetry, precision measurement, and geodetic data evaluation

• Experience with 3D laser scanning, point clouds, photogrammetry, or drone surveying is an advantage

• Knowledge of CAD-, GIS-, and BIM-based geodata processes as well as confident handling of industry-standard surveying software

• Experience in project management, calculation, and tendering as well as in technical customer support

• Very good German language skills spoken and written
