In the Campus Services department, we support this with services that make everyday work easier. In the "Business Development and Support" section, we support the department management as well as the employees of the department in central topics such as communication, (business) controlling, project, quality and risk management, application support and personnel administration. In addition, it is responsible for the vocational training of the commercial apprentices KV, Mediamatics and Interactive Media Design and ensures professional training.

For our section Business Development & Support, we are looking for a committed individual as of 1 October or by arrangement as a Commercial Trainer KV who enthusiastically, competently and positively accompanies young people on their professional path.

In this versatile role, you take responsibility for the practical training of our commercial apprentices and shape their development during a crucial phase of their professional career.

Job Description

You accompany our commercial apprentices (EBA, EFZ and INVOL) during their basic training and take on the operational as well as pedagogical responsibility for the KV training laboratory. With your commitment, you design practice-oriented training modules, promote the professional and personal development of the apprentices and ensure a motivating learning environment.

Together with the apprentices, you define performance and semester goals, continuously monitor their development and check the achievement of goals based on educational reports and competency evidence regarding performance and behaviour. As a coach, contact person and trusted advisor, you support the apprentices throughout the entire training cycle and help them to develop their potential to the fullest.

Furthermore, you are responsible for the rotation planning for the EFZ profile and ensure a high-quality implementation of the training. In your role as the central contact person for the part-time trainers, you accompany and empower them in their function as professional supervisors, promote professional exchange and actively contribute to the further development of our training quality and training offers. You bring in your own ideas and actively shape vocational training in a dynamic university environment.

You feel comfortable in a lively and dynamic university environment and enjoy accompanying young people on their way into working life. With your expertise, empathy and positive, solution-oriented attitude, you build trust and enable apprentices to develop skills for the working world of tomorrow.

In addition, you bring the following:

• Completed commercial training (EFZ) as well as further training in the field of vocational education, for example as a trainer with a professional certificate.
• Several years of professional experience and practical and/or theoretical experience in training apprentices.
• Sound pedagogical and didactic know-how as well as the ability to support and motivate apprentices individually.
• A winning manner, strong communication skills and enjoyment in building sustainable relationships with apprentices, colleagues and trainers.
• An independent, responsible and flexible working style as well as interest in administrative tasks and conceptual further development.
• High quality awareness, initiative and the ability to win others over to ideas and solutions.
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, professional use of Microsoft 365 and a strong affinity for AI technologies in the commercial environment.

It is particularly important to us to have a personality with enthusiasm for working with young people, a positive charisma and the desire to actively shape vocational training.
