Role:
Are modern IT infrastructures your passion?
We are looking for a person who develops, automates, and future-proofs complex server and virtualisation landscapes. Those who enjoy taking responsibility and using modern technologies in demanding corporate environments will find an exciting challenge here.
Responsibilities:
Planning, operation, and optimisation of modern server landscapes
Support and further development of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox)
Administration of Windows and Linux servers
Automation of recurring processes with PowerShell, Bash or Ansible
Participation in infrastructure projects and cloud migrations
Ensuring availability, performance, and IT security
Implementation of modern backup and disaster recovery concepts
Collaboration with cloud, network, and security specialists
Analysis and resolution of complex system faults
Documentation of technical solutions according to best practices
Qualifications:
Experience as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer, or systems administrator
Solid knowledge in servers, virtualisation, and storage
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 or hybrid cloud environments is an advantage
Experience with automation and infrastructure as code
Independent, solution-oriented, and structured working style
Interest in new technologies and continuous learning
