Supported by Fodac – Foundation for the Development of Arts and Culture –, Concorde espace culture (hereinafter Concorde) is a future cultural space in the heart of the Châtelaine district in Vernier. Designed as a meeting place between art, culture and social connection, this centre will offer a transdisciplinary and eclectic programme within a large-scale infrastructure. Open to everyone: cultural audiences, artists, students, residents, culture professionals, tourists, this centre is part of a participatory and inclusive approach.
It is an ambitious venture with the mission to strengthen the local cultural fabric while actively contributing to the training of future generations, artistic flourishing and the influence of Geneva. Concorde will open its doors in September 2026 in a 27,000m2 space spread over four buildings, including a significant cultural facility but also a hotel, a restaurant and a residential building. A team of 45 FTE will be recruited by the opening.
YOUR MISSION:
Reporting to the administrative and financial manager, you will participate in the daily accounting management of Concorde’s various activities (Cultural Centre, Hotel, Restaurant, Housing) and work closely with the different departments of Concorde.
- Control, accounting entry and monitoring of invoices
- Preparation of payment files
- Account reconciliation and matching
- Participation in periodic closings (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual)
- Archiving and filing of accounting documents
- Contribution to the implementation and improvement of accounting processes
YOUR PROFILE:
- Commercial employee CFC complemented by accounting training, ES diploma in accounting, Bachelor in business economics or equivalent qualification
- First professional experience in accounting desired (experience in fiduciary services is an asset)
- Good knowledge of Swiss accounting principles
- Proficiency in common accounting software (Abacus is a plus), as well as office and collaborative tools
- Strong interest in the cultural and artistic sector
- Rigour, organisational skills and great discretion
- Interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with various stakeholders (management, internal teams, external partners)
- Curiosity, willingness to learn and develop skills
