IT Integration & Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Are you interested in complex system landscapes and want to develop technical solutions that enable smooth and secure data exchange between different applications? In this position, you combine system engineering, application integration and IT security. You accompany technical customer projects from conception to commissioning, analyse demanding problems and ensure reliable communication and integration solutions in existing IT environments.
Responsibilities:
Technical implementation and commissioning of solutions for Managed File Transfer (MFT), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and email security.
Integration of software platforms into existing server, network and application landscapes as well as connection of external communication partners.
Implementation of system migrations, updates, interfaces and data transfer processes including technical tests and approvals.
Analysis and resolution of complex faults through log evaluations, protocol analyses and systematic troubleshooting at application, network and infrastructure levels.
Technical consulting and support of customers in integration projects, architectural questions and operational optimisations as well as creation of meaningful documentation.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or a comparable technical qualification with an interest in complex system integrations.
Good fundamentals in Windows Server, Linux, virtualisation, network technology and IT infrastructure.
Knowledge of secure communication methods such as SFTP, FTPS, SSH, HTTPS, TLS/SSL and handling of certificates.
Experience or interest in REST APIs, web services, XML, JSON, CSV as well as scripting with PowerShell or Bash; knowledge of EDI standards is a plus.
Analytical and structured working style, strong problem-solving skills, high personal responsibility as well as professional communication and customer skills and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
