Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an internationally oriented company in the real estate sector located in Andermatt, we are looking immediately for a numbers-savvy junior talent as Junior Financial Accountant. You will support the finance activities in Switzerland and work closely with an experienced colleague as well as international finance teams of the group companies. A varied role with short decision-making paths, direct exchange, and a high degree of personal responsibility awaits you.
Responsibilities:
You prepare and execute payment runs and monitor outstanding supplier invoices
You process creditor invoices and expense reports
You handle intercompany transactions between group companies and reconcile them
You create and post journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments
You assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
You reconcile balance sheet accounts and independently resolve discrepancies
You support the accounts payable and general ledger areas
You ensure correct and complete documentation of accounting records
You assist with internal and external audits and provide the required documents
You ensure compliance with internal controls, processes, and policies
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) or a comparable qualification; further training in finance & accounting is an advantage
You bring at least 1-3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with experience in accounts payable and general accounting
You have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
You have good German and English skills, both spoken and written (at least B2)
You demonstrate strong numerical understanding and a careful, structured working style
You are an independent and reliable personality who enjoys working collaboratively
You have organisational talent and can prioritise multiple tasks and keep deadlines in view
You show interest in an international environment and working with different cultures
