Quality Technician

On behalf of one of our clients active in the watchmaking industry in Geneva, we are looking for a Quality Technician (M/F) specialised in watch casing, for a permanent full-time position.

Would you like to put your quality expertise at the service of demanding products and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes? This position will allow you to work closely with the workshops, in collaboration with the operational teams.

Your responsibilities

• Identify, document and handle non-conformities detected in production.
• Open, monitor and close non-conformity reports.
• Participate in root cause analyses and lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using quality tools (Ishikawa, QRQC, 8D, 5M).
• Monitor and analyse quality indicators: scrap, rework and conformity rate.
• Conduct workstation audits and participate in process validations.
• Train and raise awareness among employees about quality requirements and standards.
• Ensure the application of quality requirements within the workshops.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to reduce non-conformities and non-quality costs.

Your profile

You hold a technical CFC, a quality training or an equivalent qualification.
You have a confirmed experience of at least 3 to 5 years in the watchmaking industry, ideally in the casing field.
You possess good knowledge of high-end requirements, aesthetic criteria, surface treatments as well as decoration and assembly processes.
You are proficient in reading plans, GPS dimensions and using conventional control methods.
You know the main quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, QRQC and 5M.
You are comfortable with IT tools and have ideally already worked with an ERP.
You are capable of analysing quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective improvement actions.
