As an IT System Specialist (m/f/d), you take on a central role in the operation, support, and further development of our IT infrastructure. You support internal employees as well as customers, ensure a stable IT operation, and actively work on the optimisation of systems, cloud solutions, and security topics. At the same time, you have the opportunity to further develop in the areas of DevOps, automation, and modern IT technologies.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring internal IT support in the 1st and 2nd level area – you assist employees as a competent and solution-oriented contact person for technical concerns
Ensuring a stable, efficient, and secure IT operation of our entire system landscape and infrastructure
Coordination and collaboration with external IT service providers as well as the Volaris IT organisation to further develop our solutions
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of our software solutions (Tutoris, e-Case) at customers
Handling technical customer enquiries as well as support with system configurations, rollouts, and commissioning
Creation, updating, and management of technical documentation for internal and external systems
Analysis and introduction of new technologies and tools to optimise our IT processes
Opportunity to develop towards DevOps with tasks around build servers, code signing, version control, and automation
Opportunity to take on security tasks as well as participate in the monitoring, securing, and further development of our IT systems
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science EFZ with a focus on system technology, platform development or a comparable IT qualification
Several years of experience in IT system engineering or IT support as well as in the support and implementation of customer installations, ideally in an SME environment
Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure
Practical knowledge of virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) as well as solid understanding of network basics and IT infrastructures
Knowledge in IT security, basic knowledge of SQL as well as initial experience with DevOps methods such as CI/CD, scripting, build servers, and version control are advantageous
Analytical, customer-oriented, and independent personality with a high willingness to learn and interest in further development in the areas of DevOps, cloud, and security
Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
