Construction Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager for Renovation / Client Representation for the independent management and realisation of demanding refurbishment and renovation projects in residential construction. You represent the interests of the client, take on the internal site management and are responsible for the consistent control of costs, deadlines and quality during the construction phase. Coordination of planning, execution, property management and tenants is of particular importance, as a significant part of the work takes place in occupied properties. The position combines client representation, site management and sustainable property development with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of refurbishment, renovation and renewal projects in residential construction
Acting as client representative towards planners, specialist engineers and contractors
Taking over the internal site and project management during the realisation phase
Organisation, coordination and supervision of construction work in occupied existing properties
Responsibility for cost, schedule, quality and project controlling
Leadership and coordination of external planning teams, specialist planners and site managers
Management of interfaces between site management, property management, tenants and internal specialist departments
Overall responsibility for project-related tenant administration and construction communication
Organisation of acceptances, defect management, follow-up inspections and project completions
Review and processing of contractor invoices, change orders and cost forecasts
Preparation of project reports, decision bases and reporting for internal decision-making bodies
Further development of digital construction, documentation and project management processes
Qualifications:
Basic training as draftsman EFZ specialising in architecture or comparable construction-technical training with further education as certified construction manager or technician HF building construction
Several years of professional experience in site management and control of refurbishment and renovation projects
Sound knowledge of cost, schedule and quality management as well as construction administration
Experience with occupied renovations and coordination of various project participants is an advantage
Good knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, construction processes and contract basics
Confident handling of Microsoft 365 as well as construction and project management software
Very good German language skills spoken and written
