Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Heating / Building Technology Service Technician for the independent maintenance and servicing of modern heating systems. You will carry out maintenance, repair, and fault-finding assignments and also oversee minor conversions and the renewal of existing systems. In direct contact with customers, you analyse technical problems, ensure reliable fault resolution, and identify optimisation potentials. The position offers a high degree of independence and includes regular on-call duties.
Responsibilities:
Performing service, maintenance, and repair work on heating systems
Independent diagnosis and rectification of faults and technical malfunctions
Carrying out conversion, renovation, and renewal work
Assisting with new installations and system expansions
Monitoring and optimising heat generation, heat distribution, hydraulics, and control technology
Conducting functional, operational, and safety checks
Identifying and forwarding optimisation and renovation proposals
Coordinating service assignments and liaising with customers, team, and external partners
Procuring and managing required spare parts and materials
Preparing service, maintenance, and work reports
Supporting commissioning and handover of heating systems
Participating in on-call duty at defined intervals
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training EFZ in heating/building technology, preferably as a certified heating installer EFZ
Several years of professional experience in heating service, maintenance, or system construction
Solid knowledge of heating technology, hydraulics, and system control
Experience in independent fault diagnosis and maintenance
Willingness to participate in on-call duty
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
Driving licence category B
