Role:
In this position, you develop technical products and assemblies from the initial idea to successful series production and actively shape the further development of the product portfolio. You develop innovative design solutions, coordinate technical validations, and accompany the entire development process up to market launch. You work closely with various departments and ensure technically and economically convincing results.
Responsibilities:
Development and design of new products, assemblies, and components considering technical and economic requirements
Responsibility for the entire product development process from the concept phase to successful series transfer
Elaboration of design concepts, technical solutions, and detailed developments for mechanical systems
Planning, coordination, and evaluation of tests, trials, and validation measures to ensure product quality
Close collaboration with product management, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments throughout the development process
Technical support for product optimisations as well as continuous further development of existing designs
Participation in the implementation of innovative technologies and the improvement of development processes
Qualifications:
Completed studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field; a technical basic education, for example as a designer or polymechanic, is an advantage
Several years of experience in the development, design, and industrialisation of technical products or assemblies
Sound knowledge of the product development process from concept development to series maturity
Understanding of mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic systems; knowledge in software environments is an advantage
Initial experience in technical project management as well as a good understanding of structured development processes
Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with high initiative
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Good English skills
Fluent German skills
