Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the further development of the technologically complex and highly networked network security platforms.
- You create decision bases for the introduction of new security components and support the technical project management in this.
- You ensure that the required operational quality and availability according to the SLA/OLA specifications are achieved.
- You take care of the operational implementation of intervention management in the systems and installations in the specialist area.
- In case of faults, you take over the 2nd-level support/on-call service and are available for standby duty.
Qualifications:
- Completed training in IT/computer science as well as professional experience in this field are mandatory.
- As a communicative and integrative personality, you feel comfortable in a team and can approach different people.
- You have a high motivation to familiarise yourself with new areas and are interested in new technologies.
- Sound knowledge of networks and firewalls, as well as log analysis and network troubleshooting are prerequisites for this role.
- You have experience with NAC, RAS, IPS and SIEM systems.
- Experience in security engineering and in-depth knowledge of other security platforms as well as zone environments are also important.
- You bring business fluent German skills as well as good English skills.
