Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 100,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as an ETH / FH architect for an established architectural firm with diverse and demanding building projects. You will independently manage architectural planning and project processing across all relevant SIA phases from concept development to construction implementation. The focus is on design, project planning and execution planning, constructive detail development, as well as digital project processing with ArchiCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud. The position combines creative architectural work, technical project responsibility and interdisciplinary planning with a varied field of activity.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling of architectural projects across all relevant SIA phases from concept development to realisation
Development of architectural designs and design concepts for various new build, conversion and renovation projects
Preparation of preliminary, project and building application plans considering design, functional and building law requirements
Elaboration of working, execution and detail plans including constructive development and technical project processing
Digital architectural planning with ArchiCAD including 2D plan processing, 3D modelling and coordination of project documents
Creation of presentation and project documentation with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Coordination with clients, specialist planners and authorities as well as alignment of architectural and technical requirements
Development of material and construction concepts focusing on design, functionality, economy and sustainability
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, regional building regulations and technical quality requirements
Participation in tenders and awards including technical specifications and coordination with site management
Support during construction implementation and quality assurance in collaboration with project management, site management and contractors
Project administration and document management with Microsoft Office including scheduling, minutes and project documentation
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree ETH or FH or equivalent recognised university degree
Professional experience in architectural planning and project processing, ideally with knowledge of regional building practice in Basel
Very good ArchiCAD skills in design, project planning and execution planning
Good user knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Office
Solid knowledge in architectural design, construction, detail planning and materialisation
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations as well as planning and building approval procedures
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
