The Department of Women, Children and Adolescents is tasked with providing quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and addressing the health issues faced by newborns, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 16. It works on developing cutting-edge services and centres of expertise in specialities.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SPEA) manages hospital care in day hospital or outpatient settings for children and adolescents suffering from mental disorders. It provides holistic psychological and child psychiatric care, considering the patient as a whole, including their family and social network. SPEA is a category A training centre for postgraduate medical education.

The service occupies the new premises of the House of Childhood and Adolescence (MEA), which brings together all the service units in a particularly warm environment, specifically designed to improve the quality of care for the most vulnerable young patients.

You will join the Food and Nutrition Unit for Children and Adolescents (AliNEA), a unit specialised in the assessment and management of eating behaviour disorders and nutrition in children and young people aged 4 to 16 years.

You will contribute to the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of eating behaviour disorders (EBD) and feeding disorders (FD) in children and adolescents. This activity is part of an integrated multidisciplinary approach involving child psychiatry, paediatrics, psychology, nursing, and work with families.

You will provide therapeutic follow-up through individual dietetic consultations with patients and their families, as well as support for re-nutrition in cases of anorexia nervosa and malnutrition.

You will contribute to the management of ARFID cases, particularly regarding the sensory and behavioural aspects of feeding, while also contributing to the prevention and management of nutritional complications related to EBD.

You will participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Day Hospital programme, through leading or co-leading therapeutic activities related to nutrition.

You will support therapeutic meals and snacks, while contributing to the psychoeducation of patients and their families, as well as the development of therapeutic and educational materials.

You hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from a University of Applied Sciences or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross. Additional training (CAS in CBT) and clinical experience with children and adolescents and/or in the field of eating behaviour disorders are major assets.

You have a strong interest in multidisciplinary approaches, excellent ability to work with families, and knowledge of evidence-based care models for eating behaviour disorders (EBD).

You also demonstrate strong skills in leading therapeutic groups and have excellent interprofessional collaboration abilities.

You possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of organisation, and great autonomy in managing your professional activities.

You also show flexibility and clinical creativity, are capable of intervening in complex situations, and have a keen interest in developing innovative projects.
