As a QHSE Manager, you are responsible for the further development of an effective management system and ensure that quality, occupational safety, environment, and sustainability are consistently embedded in operational processes. You combine operational proximity with a high quality standard, accompany audits, develop meaningful key figures, and support managers and employees in the practical implementation of relevant requirements. At the same time, you proactively drive improvements, create transparency about QHSE performance, and thus make an important contribution to sustainable corporate development.
Responsibilities:
Implementation and further development of QHSE objectives as well as identification and initiation of suitable improvement measures
Continuous optimisation of the QHSE management system taking into account existing and newly developed processes
Verification of process effectiveness through planning and conducting internal audits
Planning, coordination, and support of external audits and certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards
Development of suitable quality measurement methods and key figure systems for transparent control of QHSE performance
Establishment, maintenance, and further development of a meaningful QHSE key figure cockpit
Preparation of regular QHSE reports and management evaluations as a basis for decision-making for management
Consulting and training of managers and employees on QHSE-related questions and requirements
Coordination and consistent handling of internal and external complaints including root cause analysis and follow-up of measures
Use and further development of the QM tool Improve for systematic complaint handling
Identification and evaluation of relevant legal, normative, and regulatory requirements
Ensuring ongoing updating and implementation of binding obligations within the company
Development and coordination of sustainability requirements as well as support in their integration into operational processes
Promotion of a sustainable quality and safety culture across all company areas
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training or university education in a chemical, technical, or industrial environment
Several years of practical experience in quality, environmental, or QHSE management
Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 as well as relevant guidelines and standards
Further training in quality management and ideally additional knowledge in lean management
Understanding of industrial production processes, preferably in the field of chemical product manufacturing
Strong quality awareness combined with entrepreneurial thinking and action
Analytical and structured working style as well as the ability to translate complex requirements into practical measures
Convincing appearance, high communication and consulting skills, and pronounced service orientation
Assertiveness and ability to create acceptance for changes even in demanding topics
Initiative and enjoyment in anchoring improvements sustainably in the company
Very good English skills, spoken and written
Fluent German skills
