Lead Cloud Platform Architect (m/f/d)
Our Rocken partner is an internationally active Swiss industrial company with its own development and production. The company develops technical solutions for industrial applications and operates worldwide. Quality, innovation, and many years of experience characterise the company.
Role:
As an IT System Architect, you are responsible for planning and implementing complex IT systems. In this role, you take the lead in developing and implementing IT solutions. You are responsible for analysing requirements and creating architectural concepts. Your experience level as a professional is an important factor for success in this role. You bring your skills and knowledge to develop innovative solutions and keep IT systems up to date.
Responsibilities:
Architecture planning and technical setup of highly available Microsoft cloud environments with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational reliability.
Developing strategic technology recommendations for IT management, considering company requirements and investment goals.
Evaluating existing system dependencies, integration interfaces, and data architectures to specifically further develop the platform.
Managing complex cloud initiatives and coordinating design decisions with internal specialist groups and technology partners.
Ensuring long-term maintainability through architectural standards, structured knowledge transfer, and continuous technical improvements.
Qualifications:
Completed studies in the ICT field or comparable training with solid experience in complex corporate environments.
Several years of experience as a Solution or Infrastructure Architect with at least five years of overall practice and three years focused on Azure.
In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, virtual machines, app services, database services, and CI/CD tools.
Experience with zero-trust approaches, identity & access management, infrastructure as code, and methodical process modelling.
Proven responsibility for medium to large technology projects, convincing consulting skills, and very confident German and English.
