Specialist in Accounting for Pension Funds (m/f/d)
Role:
Are you looking for a new challenge in accounting? In this role, you will take responsibility for the accounting of pension funds. You will be responsible for the correct and timely handling of accounting tasks and ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting. With your experience as a professional, you bring a deep understanding of the requirements of accounting. You are ready to apply your skills in this demanding and interesting position.
Responsibilities:
- You independently manage the accounting of several company-owned pension funds
- In this role, you oversee the corresponding subsidiary ledgers, especially for securities and real estate
- As a specialist in accounting for pension funds, you prepare the annual financial statements independently
- You prepare the annual accounts including notes according to Swiss GAAP FER 26
- In this role, you compile the necessary documents for auditors and external stakeholders
- You actively contribute to projects for the further development and optimisation of accounting processes
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial basic education, ideally supplemented by further training in finance and accounting or in the field of occupational benefits
- You bring several years of professional experience of at least three to five years in pension fund accounting
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and have knowledge of the accounting software Abacus
- Your working style is motivated, structured and team-oriented
- You convince through your organisational talent, independence and flexibility as well as the ability to set priorities correctly and meet deadlines reliably
- You have very good German and Italian language skills, both spoken and written, with good French skills being an advantage
