Development Engineer Mechanical Engineering 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Responsibility for demanding design and construction tasks in the versatile field of mechanical engineering, where you develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges

• Independent development and optimisation of mechanical as well as mechatronic systems used both in industrial and stage technology

• Project management and technical leadership of development projects throughout the entire project cycle - from the initial design phase through detailed construction to final standard adoption and documentation

• Close interdisciplinary collaboration and regular exchange with colleagues from electrical engineering to realise holistic and optimally coordinated system solutions

• Active support of product management in technical optimisation issues as well as in the further development of existing product lines and the exploration of new application areas

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical basic training (e.g. polymechanic, automation technician, designer or comparable qualification) with subsequent further education to mechanical engineer FH/HF or equivalent degree

• Several years of professional experience in mechanical design and development, ideally in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or related industries

• Experienced and confident handling of common engineering tools and software solutions such as CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor), PDM systems for data management as well as FEM calculation programmes

• Sound knowledge in the design and dimensioning of mechanical components and assemblies

• Very good oral and written English skills (at least level B2) to communicate with international partners and suppliers

• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented working style

• Team spirit, communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration

• Independent, responsible personality with high commitment and flexibility

• German skills at native speaker level or comparable
