ICT Infrastructure & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Our client supports small and medium-sized enterprises as an IT partner in modernising and securely operating their IT systems. From server landscapes to networks to cloud services and security solutions, the company relies on practical advice and reliable implementation. You analyse customer requirements, develop suitable infrastructure concepts, and accompany projects from planning to operation. At the same time, you can contribute to internal services, take on technical responsibility, and further develop your role according to your strengths.
Responsibilities:
Technical consulting of customers and support of their IT infrastructures
Design, planning, and implementation of infrastructure projects
Administration and further development of virtualised server environments
Introduction and support of firewall, endpoint security, and data security solutions
Operation and expansion of the internal cloud platform as well as maintenance of network management
Analysis and resolution of complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
Further development of the service offering and optimisation of existing services
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or an equivalent technical education with corresponding practical experience
Good to solid knowledge in server technology and virtualisation
Know-how in IT security, especially firewalls, endpoint protection, and networks
Initiative and interest in new technologies
Independent working style and willingness to take responsibility
Flexibility and enjoyment of varied tasks
Team spirit, helpfulness, and communicative manner in customer contact
Good German language skills
