Role:
When outages are not an option, security must be more than just compliance.
Energy, communication, and other critical services must function even when conditions become difficult. This is exactly where your work begins: you develop security solutions for industrial and critical infrastructures where security, availability, and technical feasibility are equally important.
Responsibilities:
You develop OT security architectures that not only work on paper but also withstand real operational conditions.
You translate complex requirements into clear technical concepts and robust solutions.
You engage with IRPS, governance, and security processes and integrate these with the technical infrastructure.
In demanding tenders, you take on technical leadership: understanding requirements, developing architecture, designing solutions, and professionally supporting the bidding process.
You act as a sparring partner for customers and internal specialists, bringing different perspectives to a common denominator.
You ensure that technical documentation is not just filed away somewhere but serves as a real basis for operation and further development.
You work in an environment where security, availability, and resilience are not just buzzwords but concrete requirements for every solution.
Qualifications:
You have a higher education in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable technical field.
You bring several years of experience from network security engineering, IT engineering, or a similar environment.
OT security or critical infrastructures are ideally already familiar to you - or you have the technical background and motivation to deeply engage with this field.
A further qualification such as CAS/MAS ICT Security, CISSP, or CISM is a plus.
You think not only technically but also recognise the connections between architecture, processes, governance, and compliance.
You can communicate confidently with customers as well as with security engineers and technical specialists.
You work in a structured manner, analyse complex situations, and develop solutions that are sustainable in practice.
