Practical Trainer in Nursing

The University Clinic for Neurology is part of the Neuro medical department and a tertiary medical centre for all neurological diseases in the acute phase. Approximately 1300 patients are cared for annually in the acute ward. There is no greater variety anywhere else! We ensure neurological care for the Bern region and beyond. At the heart of our work is the individual, competent and comprehensive care of our patients. What to expect

• Support and promotion of trainees within the framework of the learning and working community (LAG)
• Joint care of a patient group together with the trainees in the learning team
• Planning and organisation of practical training in collaboration with the nursing education officer
• Active shaping of the learning processes in the department
• Close cooperation in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional environment

What you bring

• Qualified nurse, HF or BScN with several years of professional experience in acute care
• Certified vocational trainer with professional further training in nursing or willingness to complete this
• SVEB certificate as a practical trainer, equivalent qualification in adult education or willingness to complete this
• You are committed, passionate about education and possess a high degree of pedagogical skill.
• Assertiveness and organisational talent
