Responsibility for the operation, further development and automation of our Linux and cloud platforms with a focus on OpenStack
Plan, build, optimise and continuously develop OpenStack environments
Design, implement and standardise infrastructure and automation solutions using Ansible, OpenTofu and Terraform
Ensure a stable, high-performance and secure platform operation and analyse and sustainably resolve complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
Collaborate with infrastructure, network and storage teams, co-shape architecture and technology decisions and gradually take on responsibility in the OpenStack environment
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science or a comparable technical education or training
Several years of professional experience as a Linux system engineer, Linux platform engineer or Linux administrator in demanding enterprise environments
Solid knowledge in automation, configuration management and infrastructure as code, ideally with Ansible, OpenTofu or Terraform
Good knowledge of OpenStack, cloud platforms, virtualisation, container technologies, networking and storage as well as experience with highly available infrastructures
Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style, very good German skills at C1 level, good English skills and willingness to participate in on-call duty
