DESIGN ARCHITECT: (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Design Architect Competitions & Studies (80-100%) for the development of sophisticated architectural concepts. The focus is on architecture competitions, feasibility studies and early project phases in residential and commercial construction. You will independently develop design ideas and engage intensively with existing buildings, revitalisation, re-use and sustainable building concepts. The position combines high design standards with conceptual design, ArchiCAD and forward-looking architecture.
Responsibilities:
Independent handling of demanding architecture competitions and study assignments
Development of distinctive architectural and urban design concepts
Preparation of feasibility, potential and variant studies
Development of projects in residential construction as well as residential and commercial properties
Conceptualisation of solutions for new builds, conversions and revitalisations
Engagement with existing structures, extensions and re-use within design development
Integration of sustainability, resource efficiency and constructive considerations in early project phases
Development and further development of floor plans, sections, façades and volume studies
Creation and maintenance of 3D models with ArchiCAD
Preparation of high-quality competition plans, presentations and project documentation
Review of building law, functional and economic framework conditions during concept development
Participation in architectural quality assurance and further development of design strategies
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in architecture at ETH, FH level or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in competition design in Switzerland
Sound knowledge in design, urban planning and feasibility studies
Proven experience in residential construction
Knowledge of existing building development, revitalisation, re-use and sustainable architecture
Confident handling of ArchiCAD and 3D planning
Very good German language skills spoken and written
