Foreign Trade Specialist 50-100% (m/f/d)

Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, you are a central interface for international export processing and ensure smooth goods flows across national and international markets. You coordinate all shipping processes, support internal contacts with customs and compliance issues, and ensure professional care of international customers.
Responsibilities:
Management of the entire shipping and export processes including customs clearance
Organisation and monitoring of pre-shipment activities for on-time deliveries
Obtaining, comparing, and managing transport offers as well as controlling logistics costs
Checking trade documents, invoicing, and ensuring correct foreign trade data
Implementation of regulatory requirements in the area of export control and compliance
Advising internal departments on questions regarding international delivery processes
Maintenance and optimisation of existing procedures within the framework of process improvements and lean initiatives
Support of international customers via various communication channels
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification
Further training in foreign trade or a similar field is an advantage
Several years of experience in export processing, import, or international sales administration
Confident handling of customs software and administrative shipping processes
Independent, structured working style with high customer orientation and communication skills
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
Additional foreign language skills are a plus
