As part of our Digital Manufacturing team, you will drive the transformation of SFS Group's global production sites towards the Smart Factory. Together, we develop innovative solutions that make production more efficient, transparent, and data-driven. Whether Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), paperless manufacturing, or Big Data & Analytics, you bring your expertise where digital innovation creates real added value.

Senior Software Engineer – Smart Factory (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Development of innovative digitalisation solutions for our production
• Integration of production into the exciting world of the Smart Factory
• Implementation of backend services and driving technological advances
• Ensuring the foundation for data-driven production processes and analytics
• Promoting the Smart Factory through the introduction of new technological standards
• Designing modern digitalisation architectures and AI-supported production processes

Your Profile

• Completed studies in software development or a related field (university of applied sciences or higher) as well as several years of professional experience in software engineering
• Interest in Smart Factory and data-driven production processes
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, data-driven architectures (e.g. Kubernetes, Kafka) and AI architectures to support production processes
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Enthusiasm for continuous development and the motivation to achieve outstanding results
• Independent and solution-oriented personality with team spirit and a hands-on mentality
