Role:

Identities, data, and cloud services are among the most important assets of modern companies. In this role, you will design a future-proof security architecture based on the Microsoft ecosystem. You combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of security and develop solutions that reduce risks, control access, and reliably protect digital business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Further development of the cyber security architecture within a modern Microsoft system landscape

• Design of secure identity and authorisation concepts according to the least-privilege principle

• Implementation of zero-trust architectures and risk-based access controls

• Securing endpoints and user identities with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Entra ID

• Development of protection mechanisms for data, applications, and cloud resources

• Configuration and optimisation of Microsoft Purview for data governance, classification, and data protection

• Establishment of automated monitoring and alerting processes with Microsoft Sentinel

• Analysis of attack patterns, threat intelligence, and security-relevant events

• Support in security assessments, audits, and implementation of regulatory requirements

• Consulting IT teams and departments on technical security measures and best practices

Qualifications:

• Solid professional experience in cloud security, identity security, or IT security architecture

• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Azure and Microsoft 365

• Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, and Identity Governance

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, or Microsoft Sentinel

• Understanding of modern authentication methods, protocols, and security architectures

• Knowledge of data protection, information protection, and compliance is advantageous

• Experience with PowerShell, KQL, or other scripting and query languages

• Ideally, exposure to infrastructure as code and automated deployment processes

• Independent and solution-oriented working style as well as a strong sense of responsibility
