Senior IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Do you want to manage modern IT infrastructures holistically and take responsibility both in daily operations and technical projects? In this versatile position, you will take care of clients, servers, cloud services, and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring stable and secure IT operations.
Besides administration and support, you can expect varied tasks around security, migrations, rollouts, and the further development of the IT landscape. You will work closely with internal departments as well as external service providers and contribute your own ideas for technical optimisation.
Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration, and operation of clients, mobile devices, servers, and peripherals
Administration and further development of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other cloud and infrastructure services
Analysis and resolution of faults as well as ensuring stable and secure IT operations
Implementation of IT security requirements and participation in audits and security-related measures
Participation in IT projects, rollouts, and migrations as well as coordination of external service providers and technology partners
Management of asset, licence, and configuration management as well as maintenance of technical documentation and planning of maintenance work
Qualifications:
Completed IT training, ideally as an IT specialist EFZ, supplemented by further education at HF, FH, or a federal professional certificate
Several years of experience in operating and supporting IT infrastructures
Good knowledge of the Microsoft environment, especially Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
Experience in the administration of clients, servers, mobile devices, as well as user and permission management
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a strong service orientation
Very good German skills as well as good communication and coordination skills in dealing with internal and external contacts
