Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Heating for an established Swiss building technology company specialising in heating systems, thermal installations and energy-efficient building technology solutions. You will independently plan, organise and manage heating projects and accompany construction projects from technical planning through installation coordination to successful handover. The focus is on quality-, deadline- and cost-compliant project management, close collaboration with construction management and installation teams, as well as competent support of clients, architects and property management. The position combines sound heating technology, practical project management and technical CAD planning with high personal responsibility and direct customer contact.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of heating installations from technical planning through execution to commissioning and handover
Responsibility for quality-, deadline- and cost-compliant project execution including ongoing monitoring of agreed project goals
Planning and technical design of heating systems considering structural requirements, energy efficiency and customer needs
Creation and editing of technical CAD plans for heating installations, pipe routing and system components, preferably with Plancal nova
Coordination of interfaces between construction management and installation teams to ensure smooth and professional construction execution
Organisation and supervision of installation processes including scheduling, material disposition and coordination of involved specialists
Technical advice and support for clients, architects, property management and private customers throughout all project phases
Coordination with specialist planners, suppliers and contractors to clarify technical requirements and project-specific solutions
On-site supervision of construction including quality control of installations, handling technical queries and implementing necessary adjustments
Monitoring project costs and progress including handling change orders, invoice verification and support in project accounting
Coordination of functional tests, commissioning and system acceptance as well as ensuring complete handover documentation
Creation and maintenance of technical project documentation and compliance with relevant Swiss SIA standards, energy and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Completed training as a building services planner heating EFZ or equivalent recognised technical qualification in heating technology
Professional experience in planning and execution of heating systems including practical experience in construction supervision and installation coordination
Sound knowledge of heating technology and building services planning as well as understanding of system components, pipe routing and technical installation processes
Experience in independent project organisation and coordination with responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and collaboration with installation teams
Good CAD skills, preferably with Plancal nova, as well as experience in creating and editing technical heating plans
Confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as good PC and keyboard skills for administrative project management
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a category B driving licence for site visits and project support on location
