For our client, we are looking for a:
Head Chef (m/f/d) 100%
Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for kitchen operations including leadership, deployment planning and further development of the kitchen team
- Ensuring a smooth, economical and high-quality kitchen process 365 days a year
- Planning and preparation of balanced, regional and seasonal menus including special diets and dietary requirements
- Responsibility for purchasing, inventory management, orders, stocktaking as well as budget control and food cost
- Close cooperation with the hotel management and other departments for integrated, holistic care
- Strict compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations according to HACCP
Your profile:
- Completed training as a cook with a federal certificate of competence and further training as a head chef with a federal diploma
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable leadership role, ideally in contract catering or hospitality
- Structured, economical and solution-oriented working style with a strong customer focus
- Good knowledge of costing, budgeting, inventory management and MS Office
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; additional languages are an advantage
- Resilience, flexibility and enjoyment of a meaningful task
