At ICT Application Engineering, we are responsible for central specialist applications across all company divisions. This includes our BIM/CDE application landscape, which reliably connects models, information, and data flows for planning, construction, and operation, and which we develop further in the long term. As a Senior Application Engineer BIM/CDE, you ensure the stable operation of our BIM/CDE solutions and actively shape their consolidation and further development. You are the connecting contact person between ICT, specialist departments, and external partners, translating requirements into viable solutions.

Your job destination

• You develop the BIM/CDE landscape further according to new requirements and technological trends and prioritise the backlog together with the specialist departments
• In procurement and expansion projects in the BIM environment, you take on the technical leadership and coordinate internal as well as external stakeholders and development partners
• Together with the specialist departments and suppliers, you develop suitable solution designs and support roadmaps, tenders, and strategic BIM topics
• You are responsible for supplier, contract, licence, and cost management and keep an eye on support services, renewals, and cost development
• You translate needs from planning, construction, and operation into actionable projects and ensure up-to-date operational documentation, ICT governance, and sustainable knowledge transfer within the team

Your skills in your luggage

• You have a degree (HF, FH, Uni/ETH) in computer science, geography, geomatics, civil engineering, or a comparable field – ideally with BIM further training
• You bring several years of solid experience in the BIM, CDE, GIS, CAFM, or application engineering environment and have independently managed complex application landscapes or demanding BIM projects
• You are proficient in at least one CDE platform in practice and have sound knowledge in handling authoring software as well as the interaction of CAD tools, interfaces, and associated data flows
• You convince with strong conceptual and consulting skills, communicate appropriately for the target audience, and bring together different interests into clear, viable decisions
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, automation, or BIM/CDE portfolio management rounds off your profile
