Head of Digital Development & Projects, Zurich-Oerlikon Location

Responsibilities

• You lead the "Digital Development & Projects" area strategically and operationally, are responsible for the implementation and further development of the IT strategy within your area of responsibility, and consistently align resources and activities with the company’s objectives.
• You bear overall responsibility for IT portfolio and demand management, ensure the holistic control of all IT change initiatives, and guarantee their alignment with strategic goals, benefits, cost-effectiveness, risks, and available resources.
• You actively shape the collaboration between business and IT, identify needs early, and ensure coordinated planning, transparent communication, and sustainable partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You are responsible for the further development of IT and enterprise architecture, ensure compliance with architectural principles and standards, and guarantee the quality and future viability of new IT solutions as well as their successful integration into operations.
• You promote innovation, knowledge transfer, and a learning-oriented team culture, develop your employees purposefully, and accompany organisational changes to sustainably establish new solutions, technologies, and ways of working.

Profile

• Several years of leadership experience as well as comprehensive expertise in managing complex IT projects and digitalisation and transformation initiatives
• Integrity and confident demeanour, combined with strong communication skills, cooperation ability, and a good sense for people and change
• Analytical and interconnected thinking, strategic understanding, as well as a structured, solution-oriented, and forward-looking working style with a strong focus on goals and results
• Completed education in the IT field with qualification at HF/FH level or equivalent, preferably supplemented by specific knowledge in IT management, project, portfolio, or process management
• Sound knowledge in IT portfolio and demand management as well as a good understanding of IT architectures and IT service management, combined with strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-departmental collaboration

The central Services area is located at the Zurich-Oerlikon site and provides various services within the entire service department. These include IT (specialist IT), finance, HR, marketing, communication, facility management, construction development, central purchasing, and quality management.
