Project Manager Engineering
Responsibilities
- Planning and realisation of investment projects including budget responsibility and cost control – from needs assessment and concept planning through project design and implementation to commissioning and handover to daily operations
- Creation and editing of 2D and 3D layouts as well as technical planning and coordination of machines, systems, and production areas
- Preparation of tender documents and technical specifications, obtaining and evaluating offers, as well as coordinating external suppliers and service providers
- Coordination with management, production, quality assurance, and occupational safety as well as coordination of necessary approval procedures, inspections, and commissioning including FAT and SAT
Requirements
- Completed studies (FH / TS) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or plant engineering, alternatively solid practical experience in the mentioned fields
- Several years of experience in managing and implementing engineering and investment projects, preferably in the food industry
- Very good knowledge in creating and editing 2D and 3D layouts as well as handling common CAD systems
- Experience in budget planning, cost control, and schedule management as well as in technical project design and procurement
- Knowledge in the areas of food hygiene, quality assurance, occupational safety, and official approval procedures as well as experience with FAT, SAT, and commissioning
