You are looking for a new challenge as a Senior ICT Engineer specialising in Network and Security. In this role, you take responsibility for the security and efficiency of networks. You are responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining network infrastructures to ensure high availability and security. You bring your experience and expertise to solve complex network and security issues. You are an important part of a well-coordinated team and contribute to keeping networks and systems up to date.
Responsibilities:
You design, implement and operate powerful network and security platforms.
You administer and optimise FortiGate firewalls as well as enterprise networks and continuously develop their architecture.
You conduct security audits, identify vulnerabilities and initiate appropriate improvement measures.
You analyse complex 2nd and 3rd level faults and ensure sustainable solutions for complex infrastructure problems.
You advise customers on network design, protection concepts and best practices, document technical solutions and support juniors and trainees in their development.
Qualifications:
You have training as an IT specialist EFZ, telematics technician or a comparable technical qualification; further education at HF/FH level is a plus.
You have several years of experience with network and security infrastructures as well as their planning and operation.
You have solid firewall knowledge, ideally with FortiGate or comparable next-generation platforms.
You master routing, switching, VLAN and QoS and ideally have knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and wireless technologies.
You think analytically and solution-oriented, know monitoring and incident response, and convince through initiative, service orientation, reliability and communication skills; driving licence category B present.
