Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an institution of the Swiss federal administration in the finance sector, we are looking for a committed individual for the specialist accounting team. You will support the proper and audit-compliant management of financial accounting for several federal offices. You can expect a varied and demanding role in a dynamic environment at the Bern location.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for financial accounting with a focus on general ledger, financial statements, asset accounting, account reconciliations, and master data according to the requirements of the federal budget and accounting regulations
You prepare the monthly reporting and support the controlling department with budgeting, cost-performance accounting, evaluations, and authorisation assignments in SAP
You ensure technical support and develop process documentation including internal control system (ICS)
You proactively participate in projects within the financial accounting department
Qualifications:
You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or higher technical college (e.g. expert in accounting and controlling, specialist in finance and accounting)
You bring professional experience in accounting with a focus on financial accounting including ICS
You have very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
You think analytically and conceptually, work goal- and result-oriented, and are resilient
You are team-oriented, strong in communication and organisation, precise and independent; additionally, you have good knowledge of two official languages
