Role:

For a demanding position in purchasing, we are looking for an experienced and strong negotiator who combines operational procurement with strategic development. In this position, you are responsible for defined product groups, manage supplier relationships and ensure reliable supply in day-to-day business. With your sense for markets, cost structures and risks, you further develop existing procurement processes and make a direct contribution to the company’s profitability and supply security.

Responsibilities:

• You manage the operational procurement process from clarifying requirements to on-time delivery

• You process orders, monitor delivery dates and resolve deviations, complaints and open issues with suppliers

• You develop product group and procurement strategies and implement them independently

• You identify, evaluate and develop suitable suppliers in the national and international environment

• You conduct price, terms and contract negotiations and ensure economically attractive procurement solutions

• You analyse procurement markets, cost developments and supply risks and derive appropriate measures

• You initiate and implement cost and process optimisations within purchasing

• You are responsible for maintaining and further developing relevant purchasing and supplier master data

• You monitor contracts, deadlines and defined performance indicators

• You ensure compliance with internal purchasing guidelines, control processes and compliance requirements

• You work closely with internal departments and accompany cross-departmental purchasing and optimisation projects

Qualifications:

• You have completed a commercial or technical basic education with further training in purchasing, for example as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate

• You bring several years of professional experience in industrial purchasing and are familiar with both operational and strategic procurement tasks

• You have solid experience in supplier, contract and product group management

• You are skilled in conducting price and contract negotiations and have a strong cost awareness

• You bring good technical understanding as well as experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Experience in project purchasing and cross-departmental procurement projects is an advantage

• You communicate confidently in English
