The Urban Cleanliness Service has 340 employees. Its main tasks include the entire waste management and cleanliness of public areas. Its mission, through its Intercommunal Waste Management Centre, is to reduce the environmental impact of waste through ethical and responsible management, focusing on material recovery and energy production. For the Intercommunal Waste Management Centre (CID) division, we are looking for 1 truck driver.

Main Mission(s)

Drive waste collection trucks

Ensure optimal quality of waste collection and transport, respecting standards, guidelines and safety rules

Supervise a team composed of 2 collection and sorting workers

Ensure the maintenance of the truck

Profile

Federal Vocational Certificate (CFC) as a heavy vehicle driver with capacity certificate (according to OACP)

Minimum 5 years of professional heavy vehicle driving experience

Good knowledge of the city of Lausanne

Resistance to stress related to city traffic

Ability to work independently and reliability

Communication skills, adaptability and initiative-taking

Punctuality and flexibility

Fluency in French (level C1)

Up-to-date OACP course
