IT Security Engineer - Fortinet Solutions (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
You support the design, implementation and maintenance of modern Fortinet security solutions - from firewalls to SD-WAN to Zero Trust Network Access.
Together with experienced engineers, you work on network and security projects for customers from SME and enterprise environments.
You analyse security infrastructures, identify vulnerabilities, resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.
Through precise documentation and continuous optimisation, you contribute to the quality and stability of the systems.
You use internal training and certification offers to continuously expand your technical know-how.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or network engineering
Initial experience with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) - ideally also in installation and operation
Basic knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs and network security
Very good German skills, good to fluent English skills
