Role:

Your passion is to migrate grown on-premises landscapes to a modern cloud. As a Senior Microsoft 365 & Azure Engineer, you lead demanding transformation projects in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) from concept to implementation. Automation, security, and scalability are central to your decisions. With your expertise, you set the technical framework for identity, endpoint, and network. This creates a platform that also meets future requirements.

Responsibilities:

• You develop identity concepts with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and MFA and strengthen endpoint security with Microsoft Intune.

• You review existing cloud environments and modernise them regarding security, governance, and cost structure.

• Additionally, you design landing zones as well as management and subscription structures according to clearly defined best practices.

• You build standardised deployment patterns with Bicep and automate cloud and workplace processes using PowerShell and APIs.

• Furthermore, you plan virtual networks, routing, and hybrid connections and coordinate firewall integration closely with the network team.

• You also evaluate new automation and AI approaches and transform promising ideas into technical prototypes.

Qualifications:

• You bring many years of experience in architecture and engineering of Azure and M365 landscapes.

• Infrastructure as Code is your everyday practice. You write modular and reusable templates with ease.

• You are familiar with migrations from on-premises systems to the Microsoft cloud from numerous projects. You also automate complex processes purposefully with scripts.

• Additionally, you are confident in topics such as Conditional Access, Enterprise Applications, and Device Compliance.

• Furthermore, you understand private endpoints, peering, DNS, and network security concepts in detail. Knowledge of Fortinet rounds off your profile.

• You consistently implement zero-trust principles technically and quickly understand dependencies across multiple layers. A Microsoft certification, such as Identity and Access Administrator or Solutions Architect, underlines your expertise.
