Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a motivated professional for plan processing and 3D design of demanding civil engineering projects with a focus on bridge construction, architectural structures, and structural planning. You will contribute to the development and implementation of technically demanding supporting structures and create precise CAD plans, construction details, and digital 3D models. The focus is on the constructive planning of civil engineering structures, digital project processing with Allplan, and the application of modern BIM methods. The position is suitable both for recent apprentices and experienced draftspersons who wish to expand their expertise in structural civil engineering and gradually take on more project responsibility.


Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the planning and design of demanding civil engineering projects with a focus on bridge construction, architectural structures, and structural planning

  • Creation and processing of formwork, reinforcement, and construction plans for structures made of reinforced concrete and other structural materials

  • Digital design and modelling of civil engineering structures in 2D and 3D, preferably with Allplan

  • Development of constructive details and connection solutions for bridges, support structures, and other civil engineering works

  • Creation and maintenance of three-dimensional structural models as a basis for technical project processing and interdisciplinary coordination

  • Participation in BIM-supported planning and model coordination including checking and updating digital building models

  • Implementation of static and constructive specifications from civil engineers into technically precise and executable planning documents

  • Processing of design, tender, and execution plans through the relevant planning phases in structural civil engineering

  • Coordination of planning documents with civil engineers and other specialists to ensure coordinated project processing

  • Conducting plan and model checks regarding dimensional accuracy, completeness, constructive correctness, and feasibility

  • Creation of visualisations and graphic representations to illustrate complex structural and construction solutions

  • Gradual assumption of independent project processing tasks according to professional experience and technical development


Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in civil engineering; both recent graduates and professionals with experience are welcome

  • Interest in structural civil engineering, especially in bridge construction, architectural structures, reinforced concrete constructions, and structural planning

  • Good CAD skills in 2D and 3D design, preferably with Allplan, or willingness to deepen software knowledge

  • Basic knowledge in creating formwork, reinforcement, and construction plans as well as understanding of technical drawings and structural relationships

  • Interest in digital planning methods, 3D modelling, and BIM as well as motivation to further develop one’s knowledge in digital building planning

  • Precise, reliable, and independent working style as well as enjoyment in collaborating with civil engineers and interdisciplinary project teams

  • Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project processing, planning coordination, and communication within the project team
