Role:
You want to not only operate a cloud environment but also shape it from the ground up? As a Senior Azure Networking & Identity Engineer, you bear the architectural responsibility for a Microsoft Azure platform and set the technical guardrails. Automation, security, and scalability are central. You critically evaluate new Microsoft cloud technologies and mature them with proofs of concept. Here you actively shape and make decisions with real impact.
Responsibilities:
You design scalable and highly available architectures for compute, storage, networking, and central platform services.
You develop robust network concepts for virtual networks, private endpoints, DNS, and routing.
You build identity and access structures with Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, and app registrations.
Furthermore, you automate resource provisioning with Terraform and PowerShell and establish uniform deployment processes.
You develop concepts for monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor as well as for the recovery of business-critical systems.
Additionally, you continuously optimise costs and performance and specifically advance Azure Virtual Desktop.
Qualifications:
You bring many years of experience in engineering complex Azure and Microsoft infrastructures.
You are familiar with landing zones, subscription structures, and cloud governance from practice and implement security concepts technically soundly.
You have in-depth knowledge of RBAC, enterprise applications, and managed identities.
You are confident in topics such as peering, private DNS, VPN, and firewalling.
With PowerShell, you solve demanding automation tasks, and you are well acquainted with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Additionally, you have solid knowledge of Windows Server, hybrid environments, and Log Analytics and analyse dependencies up to Microsoft 365 precisely.
