Attack surfaces change daily, and that is exactly what makes this position exciting. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you build protection mechanisms for customer environments and support them in ongoing operations. The path leads from the initial architectural design to the fully documented solution. In addition to project work, you shape the service portfolio and introduce new approaches.
Responsibilities:
You implement security projects based on managed security services and document the results comprehensibly.
In consulting mandates, you develop protection concepts and carry them through to technical implementation.
You evaluate suspicious events and vulnerability scanning results and define appropriate countermeasures.
Furthermore, you develop the tools used further, thereby raising the quality level of the services.
Additionally, you provide technical support to sales and build proof of concepts with proven technologies.
Qualifications:
Handling web application firewalls, network and cloud firewalls, multi-factor authentication as well as XDR and EDR is part of your daily routine.
You are familiar with common operating systems and network detection and response.
Experience with SIEM, log management, incident analysis, or system monitoring is desirable.
Scripting with Python or Bash as well as knowledge of ITIL and project management complete your profile.
In addition, you have a methodical, trustworthy working style combined with strong analytical skills and confident demeanour.
You are fluent in German and English, and French is considered an additional plus.
