Project Manager Heating (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management and specialist planning of heating systems in demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects. You will take responsibility for building services analysis, project planning, tendering, execution planning and specialist site management, accompanying projects through all relevant SIA phases. The focus is on energy-efficient heat generation systems, hydraulic system planning, CAD planning with Nova, and BIM-supported project management. The position offers the opportunity to independently develop sustainable building services solutions and to professionally coordinate interdisciplinary planning teams.

Responsibilities:

• Independent project management of heating projects in demanding residential, commercial, industrial and public buildings

• Building analyses and energetic condition assessments with evaluation of existing heating systems, energy consumption and technical optimisation potentials

• Planning of heating and heat generation systems including heat pumps, district heating connections, boilers and hybrid energy systems

• Heat load calculations and hydraulic dimensioning with design of heat distribution, pipe networks, pumps, fittings and heat emission systems

• Planning according to SIA phases from concept development and preliminary planning through construction project and tendering to execution planning and commissioning

• Preparation of tenders and cost estimates including specifications, technical specifications, cost estimates and offer comparisons

• CAD planning with Nova including creation of system schematics, floor plans, installation plans and technical execution details

• BIM-supported specialist planning and coordination with processing of digital building models and coordination of technical interfaces with other trades

• Specialist site management and execution control with monitoring of installation quality, checking technical executions and accompanying acceptance procedures

• Coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams with alignment of heating planning with ventilation, sanitary, electrical, architecture and building physics

• Client consulting and project communication with leading project meetings and technical coordination with general contractors/specialist contractors, architects and specialist planners

• Cost, schedule and quality management including project controlling, schedule monitoring, change order review and ensuring technical project objectives

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a building services planner EFZ specialising in heating with further training as a technician HF building services, building services engineer FH or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in planning and realising heating systems, ideally with independent project management responsibility

• Sound knowledge of heating and energy technology, especially heat pump systems, heat distribution, hydraulic calculations and energy-efficient system concepts

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and energy regulations, especially SIA 384/1, SIA 384/2 as well as relevant cantonal energy requirements

• Good user knowledge of CAD Nova and Microsoft Office as well as experience with BIM-based planning methods is an advantage

• Experience in tendering, cost estimation, specialist site management and project coordination across several planning and execution phases

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, project meetings and communication with clients and specialist planners
