Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)

You have the chance to work on innovative, energy-efficient drive solutions and help shape the future of industrial automation. In this role, you take responsibility for the development of embedded software. You shape the future of frequency converters that are used worldwide and reduce the energy consumption of electric motors. You enable energy feedback and thus contribute to a more sustainable future. You bring your experience as a professional and actively engage in the further development of energy-efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
- You implement innovative software modules for frequency converters in a small development team
- In this role, you work interdisciplinarily on the analysis of requirements and the specification of software components
- As a software developer, you develop hardware-near C code for the Cortex A and Cortex M processor families
- You conduct verifications in the form of unit and integration tests
- You design software components for frequency converters
- In this role, you are responsible for implementing software modules in accordance with the specifications
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed your studies in electrical engineering, information technology or control engineering and have several years of professional experience in a comparable developer role.
- You have solid knowledge of C for embedded software and are confident in using established software development tools.
- You are accustomed to developing software in a process- and quality-oriented manner, including requirements management and version control with Git.
- You are strong in analysis, innovative in problem-solving, structured, persistent and systematic in implementation.
- You have experience in software development considering quality and processes.
- You are a typical developer with pronounced skills in software development.
