Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Job Description
You will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of heavy vehicles, ensuring their reliability, safety and availability.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work on heavy vehicles.
- Perform mechanical, electrical and electronic diagnostics.
- Identify faults and determine necessary interventions.
- Carry out repairs and replacements of mechanical parts.
- Work on braking, suspension, transmission, engine and auxiliary equipment systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Perform necessary checks and tests after intervention.
- Ensure quality work in compliance with procedures and safety standards.
- Complete intervention reports and follow up on completed work.
Profile Sought
We are looking for a profile:
- Training as an automotive, heavy vehicle or agricultural machinery mechanic, or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity and embedded electronics.
- Good ability to diagnose faults independently.
- Methodical, precise and with good analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Heavy vehicle driving licence is an advantage.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools is a plus.
